Incheon National University Infinity Imagination Research Center Michuhol-gu Math and Science Convergence Camp

The Infinity Imagination Research Center under Incheon National University (President Lee In-jae) announced that it has successfully concluded the "Michuhol-gu Math and Science Convergence Camp," which ran from June 20 to 27.

Hosted by the Michuhol-gu Office in Incheon Metropolitan City and organized by the Incheon National University Infinity Imagination Research Center, this camp was operated for elementary school students within the Michuhol-gu district.

A total of 160 students participated in the camp, engaging in a variety of thematic programs such as the "AI-based Creator Project," "Splendor," and "Microscopic World Seen through the Eyes."

Participating students shared their thoughts, saying, "It was truly amazing and rewarding to create my own drawings and poems using AI, which I’ve always been interested in," and "It was fun to learn math and science principles that previously felt difficult, solving them like missions through board games and microscope observations."

Soo-bong Choi, Director of the Incheon National University Infinity Imagination Research Center (Professor in the Department of Physics), stated, "Through the hands-on and experiential activities of this camp, students had the opportunity to cultivate not only AI competencies but also practical inquiry skills to solve problems on their own. We will continue to do our best to foster creative convergence talents who will lead the future society in connection with the local community."
